As a continuous effort to integrate Mission and Training, the Anglican Training Institute (ATI), which is entrusted with the training of Ambassadors takes a step forward by integrating the Ambassadors Programme with the Diocesan Certificate of Ministry (DCM). Participants of the Ambassadors Programme from 2013 onwards will be able to complete the coursework equivalent to the first year of DCM if they stay through the Ambassadors Programme for two years. Those who opt to do a one-year Ambassadors Programme will complete coursework equivalent to a half-year’s coursework of DCM. With this, graduating Ambassadors are eligible to go straight into year 2 of DCM or at least have half-year’s credit hours already earned.
