A new group of Ambassadors consisting of 9 new members and a returning team leader has begun their training.

The Ambassadors Programme 2013

The new cycle of the Ambassadors Programme commenced on February 14, 2013, together with the Opening of ATI 2013. We have a record of nine participants from all corners of the diocese. We are also proud to have Shyron J. Patrick, one of the graduates of the Ambassadors Programme, to return as the co-ordinator of the Programme. All ten of them recently returned from the Diocesan Vocation Camp in St. Patrick’s Church, Tawau. Their first cycle of training will include theological lessons, practical modules, and hands-on ministry training. They are also assigned to supervisors of various language zones in All Saints’ Cathedral and Heritage Anglican Church. Upon completion of this cycle, they will be sent out to the mission field for 10 weeks of practical training. Thereafter, they will they will join the Diocesan English/Chinese Youth Camp in Sandakan.

We thank God for His grace upon the programme, as we’ve seen how each participant in the past was blessed. Everyone was clearer about his or her calling in life which enables them to serve actively in various capacities in God’s church. Among the eight Ambassadors who have participated in the programme so far, six are currently serving fulltime in either the mission field or local church ministry.

‘To be really honest, the whole programme really changes my life … Thank you for planning the program timetable and its contents.’ Chew Jiun-Ru.

So do pray for each and every one of the present Ambassadors, as they offer their lives to serve God, may they be clearer of God’s calling, and be more passionate for His Mission as their scope is widened and skills are sharpened.
